When I was asked to produce brand guidelines, it quickly became clear that the real need went far beyond logos and a colour palette. I identified a deeper internal misalignment around our brand vision and values – the foundations from which any strong brand must grow. We needed greater clarity, consistency and confidence.
To address this, I led the process of bringing in the external agency Wiedemann Lampe to help define our brand strategy, direction, visual identity and to produce comprehensive brand guidelines. I co-facilitated workshops with staff to audit our current brand perception and gather insights to shape our future direction. Throughout the project, I acted as a mediator between the agency, founders and CEO, ensuring smooth collaboration and providing strategic guidance to keep the work aligned with the company’s needs and ambitions.
